Stevan Djuric, PhD, is President of Discovery Chemistry and Technology Consulting LLC and a former Vice President of Discovery Chemistry and Technology at AbbVie, where he led global medicinal chemistry strategy and innovation.

Over his career, Dr. Djuric has guided drug discovery programs across immunoscience, metabolic disease, anti-infectives, and CNS, advancing multiple compounds into clinical development and commercialization, including zotarolimus, used in vascular stents, and ABBV-951 (PRODUOPA). His leadership has spanned high-throughput chemistry, DNA-encoded libraries, chemical biology, and emerging discovery technologies.

He was named an AbbVie Distinguished Research Fellow and served on the company’s Scientific Governing Board, recognizing the highest level of scientific achievement within the organization.

Dr. Djuric has authored over 180 scientific publications and patents and has delivered more than 50 invited lectures globally. He serves as an Associate Editor for ACS Medicinal Chemistry Letters and sits on multiple scientific advisory boards. He has also held adjunct faculty appointments at the University of Kansas, High Point University, and the University of Virginia.
