Karen brings over 30 years of international leadership in drug discovery and new technologies to the X-Chem team. Her experience includes academic drug discovery centers (UA, MUSC) and biotech roles (Pyramid Bio, BlinkBio, Aurobac, Centauri). She also demonstrated her vast medicinal chemistry expertise and strong leadership in VP roles at Roche Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline. Most recently, Karen served as global head of integrated drug discovery for Evotec. She has authored numerous publications, books and book chapters on molecular design, kinase inhibitors and drug discovery, and she holds over two dozen patents.
